P30 Center Membership
Membership in the UC Irvine Skin Biology Resource Center is open to anyone with an interest in research on skin biology and disease. To join, simply send your information and a brief resume or NIH biosketch to skincenter@uci.edu.
Membership Privileges
Participation in planning Center sponsored events such as research symposia, educational programs, community outreach, and fund-raising events. Access to apply for Center-sponsored seed grants. Priority access to core resources and services. These services are generally open to the UC Irvine community, often on a recharge basis. However, when high utilization causes access to become a concern, priority will be given to P30 Center members. Authorization to list “Member, UC Irvine Skin Biology Resource Center” on publications, curriculum vitae and UC Irvine academic personnel documents.
Membership Responsibilities
Members of the Center may be called upon to participate in various activities such as:
- Skin biology educational activities
- Community relations programs
- Donor relations programs
- Planning and participating in Center-sponsored seminars and scientific symposia
